Senior Pastor, Living Hope Church Reverend Mukwavi with his wife Catherine, have pastored Living Hope Church since 1998. Rev. Mukwavi heeded God’s call, leaving secular employment in 1994 and going into full time ministry. He had done a lot of pioneering work in Mufulira and Ndola from 1986 to 1994.

He is a graduate of Theological College of Central Africa in Ndola (Bachelor of Theology -1997) and Regent University College in Vancouver BC, Canada (Masters in Theology – 2013).

His vision: To build a Christ centered church that will be affective to the communities. (Matthew 16: 13-20).

His desire is to bring people to Christ, teach them to grow, find their place of service in the body, love one another and love God through the Spirit empowered worship.

The Mukwavis have three daughters, two of whom are active in the music ministry at church.
