Catherine, have pastored Living Hope Church since 1998. Bishop Mukwavi heeded God’s call, leaving secular employment as a professional marketer in 1993, and going into full time ministry. He had done a lot of pioneering work with senior pastors in Mufulira and Ndola from 1986 to 1994.

He is a graduate of Evangelical University (Formerly Theological College of Central Africa) in Ndola, graduating with a Bachelor of Theology in 1997, and Regent College at University if British Columbia in Vancouver BC, Canada (Masters in Theology – 2013).
Pastor (Mrs) Catherine Mukwavi is a holder of a certificate in Biblical studies from
Evangelical University (formerly TCCA), and a professional Human Resource practitioner,
holder of Masters degree in Public Management from Potsdam Univerisy in Germany.

The couple have blessed with 3 daughters: Nachimvya (gone to be with the Lord), Mapalo, and Twapalwa.

His vision: To build a Christ centered church that will be affective to the communities.
(Matthew 16: 13-20).
His passion is to develop and grow a multi-generational, multi-cultural, and multi-locational church, which will give hope to the nations.
